‘Casual Talk on Philosophy, Religion and Good Life’ is a conversational narration on by visually-impaired academician, Dr. Makmor Tumin of University Malaya.
This book, laced with personal anecdotes of the author takes on three heavy and convoluted issues in a casual, but realistic approach.
The issues are built from a collection of authentic Q&A sessions with real respondents, along with an array of intellectual discussions.
Dr Makmor is a political scientist, with works on a wide range of topics, straddling religion, politics and even health.
Born in Johor in 1967, Dr. Makmor moved to Kuala Lumpur to continue his studies at the secondary level, before proceeding to the University of Malaya in 1987 as an undergraduate.
Dr. Makmor is available at his publisher’s booth for personal discourse on his work, which is available for sale and book-signing session throughout the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) 2022 at WTC.
