MALAYSIA’S own media city, Angkasapuri Kota Media has been officiated.
The reportedly high-tech media complex was opened by caretaker prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri today (Wednesday 26 Oct).
Similar integrated projects have been built in Dubai, UAE; Manchester, United Kingdom; Singapore and Sydney, Australia.
The RM860 million project, which began in 2016, covers an area of 62,027sqm and aims provide comprehensive broadcasting infrastructure.
It comprises 18 floors of office space, an auditorium with a capacity of 1,000, music and TV studios, a multi-storey car park, as well as a plaza.
